By accessing or using FounderOS ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FounderOS is an AI-powered advisory platform designed for founders managing multiple ventures simultaneously. The Service provides domain-expert AI advisors, action item tracking, morning briefings, calendar integration, and context persistence across ventures.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit AI advisors
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use the Service to generate content that violates any law or regulation

5. Your Data and Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of all data and content you provide to the Service, including venture information, conversations, action items, and knowledge base entries.

License to Us

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This includes sending your data to AI model providers (OpenAI) for generating advisory responses.

Data Portability

You may export your data at any time. Upon account deletion, we will delete all your data within 30 days.

6. AI Advisory Disclaimer

AI-generated advice provided by FounderOS is for informational purposes only and should not be considered as professional legal, financial, medical, or other specialized advice. The Service:

  • Does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI responses
  • Should not replace consultation with qualified professionals
  • May produce responses that are incorrect, outdated, or inappropriate for your situation
  • Is not liable for business decisions made based on AI-generated recommendations

You are solely responsible for evaluating and acting upon any advice received through the Service.

7. Third-Party Integrations

The Service may integrate with third-party services such as Google Calendar and social media platforms. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by FounderOS and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FounderOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FounderOS, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the Service settings. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
